Studio / RCL is the architecture firm opened in 1990 by Richard Cutts Lundquist.
Since its inception in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles, Studio/RCL has designed and built a series of acclaimed
residential and commercial projects. The projects include several well known clothing stores, a highly
popular and successful restaurant in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles and a 50 room
hotel tower in British Columbia, Canada. Our residential projects range from remodels to major
additions for homes in Santa Monica, Brentwood, Hancock Park, Los Angeles and Glendale.
All of our work is the result of close collaboration with our clients.
We believe that this collaboration is necessary for the creation of good architecture. In addition,
we are committed to the growth and development of our work through regular teaching and research. We strive
to be contemporary architects, working closely with our clients, meeting all of their needs and providing
appropriate and inspired design solutions.
Our work has been published locally and internationally and included in various exhibitions including the American
Institute of Architects Residential Architecture exhibit and the New Blood exhibit at the Pacific Design Center.
